Campaign Logo
These materials were created for a friend of mine, who is running for Alderman in her hometown of Pine Bluff, AR.
She stressed the importance of being local and authentic, so i created a simple pine tree graphic to incorporate into the logo and serve as something of a logo within the logo. The use of script for the last name was requested, so I used Variane (which I found here on Behance - https://www.behance.net/gallery/26855635/Variane-Script-Font). I used Big John and Slim Joe for other texts (those fonts also found on Behance - https://www.behance.net/gallery/19484739/Big-John-Slim-Joe-FREE-Font).
I used Old Glory Red and Old Glory Blue, which are the colors of the Arkansas state flag. The rectangular shapes were also inspired by the flag, initially, as I started out using diamond shapes to mimic the diamond on the AR flag.
